My church, Atonement Methodist in Claymont, has a wonderful outreach ministry and lots of opportunities for fellowship and volunteer services. Unfortunately, I can’t take advantage of many of them because I’m working all day. One of my delights this past year was to be called to serve as a liturgist one Sunday a month. I have the opportunity to speak in front of the congregation, give a greeting, make announcements, and lead the prayers.
But I’d like to do more! And with more time in my life, I will look for other opportunities to serve.
What are the reasons you’d retire or change your life?

I have enjoyed leading some groups of ladies in studies since my retirement. I have also enjoyed the privilege of joining studies without time restriction.
