My daughter Bonnie and I have a great relationship. We like to say that, along with her younger brother Allen, we’re the survivors of Titanic; when the ship sunk—my husband’s car accident— we hung onto each other. My older son, Dennis, was in college at the time and while he came home as often as he could to stay by Ron’s hospital bed, it was Bonnie, Allen, and me who lived the day-to-day trials. Knitting and crocheting in waiting rooms was often part of the journey.
Once a year, Bonnie and I go “yarning”, seeking out yarn shops where we can indulge our love of fiber crafts and spend time together. We’ve been as North as New York and as far South as Maryland in quest of the perfect skein of yarn. But we’ve only just begun!
Wonder how many we can check off our list?

What ones should we visit near you?
Traditions with loved ones are the best.
My sister visits yarn shops all over the world and has written about and reviewed many on her website https://www.msmaetravels.com/. Maybe her yarn shop visits will add more inspiration for your future!
