During the hospital years when my life was confined to a blue or green room smelling faintly of disinfectant, reading took me away from the latest surgery or infection or mental malady that afflicted my husband. Reading freed me!
While both my Kindle and my bookshelf are quite full, there is always room for more. I just hope I don’t end up like Burgess Meredith in this scene from The Twilight Zone!

I love to read books that are entertaining, and books that makes my mind think. Also reading relaxes me.
To name a few are: Go Tell It On The Mountain by Author James Baldwin and To Kill A Mockingbird by Author Harper Lee. My favorite is the King James Bible. Have a good day.
