I worked at a Quaker School for ten years where there was a labyrinth on campus. Walking the paths and praying or reflecting brought me a measure of peace in the days immediately following Ron’s car accident and ensuing surgeries. If you are new to the concept of a labyrinth, you can click on this link to find one near you. There is a very famous labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France. A few months after Ron’s accident, a colleague’s husband made a pilgrimage to the site and offered to carry in his packback stones with our worries.
One was inscribed with my husband’s name.
While I’d love to walk it myself, the small one at Neumann University, lovingly tended by the Sister of St Francis, will serve very well. This simple stone path is on the South Side of Our Lady of Angels Convent.

Although I am no longer religious, I love labyrinths and I am sure would gain a lot of peace of mind from walking one. Thank you for sharing this.
