It might sound silly, but my favorite version of The Christmas Carol is The Muppets version with Micheal Caine.
A few years ago I had my 9th grade students vote for their favorite "Carol." Muppets won by a landslide. Although I feel the George C Scott version is the most faithful to the original, I have always loved Mr. Magoo's version, a childhood favorite!
I’ll have to revisit George C Scott’s version to see if I might change my vote.
