Where I live in California we have zero snow days. What was nice about that when I was a teacher, was I knew exactly when my last day of the school year would be. From the first day until the 180th, I could plan my academic year.
Yes I listened to the radio for my school’s name actually ! But then we got dressed in warm clothes and went sledding on the local hills. Great fun. Loved no school days!
I most definitely DID! My kids wore PJs backward, flushed ice cubes down the toilet, and put a crayon (can’t remember what color it had to be) in the windowsill!
