A long time ago I went on a trolley tour around Philadelphia to see all the murals on buildings around Philly. I never knew there were so many of them. It was a great trip!
Maybe ten years or more ago now, some of us who went to school together in the '80s found each other on Facebook and organized a lunch event on the Spirit of Philadelphia. It was the only time I've ever been to Philly "on my own" - I came up from South Carolina for a couple days. We had a blast, then I walked around the shops for a few hours before heading back to my motel. 100% recommend, especially if you can do it with friends you love.
